Ans-The poet recalls his childhood days in Rameshwaram where he used to live and see the waves and golden sand at the sea shore.

2.Can you guess the child's daily routine from the poem? Write it.
Ans-Yes I can ! A child's daily routine is very busy.He generally woke at 4 O'clock in the in the morning take bath,to take lesson from his teacher,Swamiyar at 5.30 AM.the he goes to the railway station at Rameshwaram to distribute newspaper at 8 A.M. Then he returned to home to take his breakfast.He go to masjid for prayer.He also as a young boys he was walking running and studying all together.

3.What are the feelings of the poet for his mother?
Ans-The poet is very much affected by the care of his mother.So he has a great love and affection for his mother because he says that his mother gave him all the support in time of nneed.she is the only inspiration and encouragement to him.He feels that what he is today because of his mother.

4.What dose the child mention about his mother's caring hands'?
Ans-The child says that whenever he is distress,his mother comes to him to know about him.All the grief vanished when his mother put her 'caring hand' on his head.He feels that she is source of inspiration and hope in time of need.

5.When dose the child say that he will meet his mother again?
Ans-The child says what he is today it is due to his mother.She gives the child her faith to gain strength.He is able to face the challenges without fear.So he wants to meet his dead mother once again at the time of last judgement.
